Longboard Session during the second Lay-Day at Roxy Pro Biarritz

Surf conditions haven’t improved today in Biarritz forcing the organizers of the Roxy Pro to call competition off for the second day in a row. An anticyclonic system sitting right in front of the European Atlantic coastline is blocking all chances of a swell making its way to the beautiful city of Biarritz and waves in the 0.5Ft only are breaking at Côte des Basques this morning.
“There’ll be another call tomorrow morning at 11am,” ASP Women’s Tour Manager, Jessi Miley-Dyer stated. “If conditions are still like this we’re looking at doing an international tag team with the girls, which should be really fun with this incredible weather for them and also for the public of Côte des Basques.”
Event organizers will reconvene at 11am tomorrow to re-assess conditions.

The french Longboard Surfers Victoria Vergara, Coline Ménard and Justine Mauvin used the very small waves for an Longboard Session. The famous French Surf Photographer Sylvain Cazenave went also in the Water to make some Water Shots. The result was a shooting with a lot of funny action.

L’absence de vagues a contraint les organisateurs du Roxy Pro Biarritz à reporter à nouveau la
compétition. Un système anticyclonique installé devant la côte Atlantique européenne, empêche le moindre swell de se frayer un passage jusqu’à Biarritz. « Il y aura un nouveau call à 11h demain matin » a annoncé l’ASP Women’s Tour Manager Jessi Miley-Dyer. « Si les conditions demeurent ainsi nous organiserons un tag team (épreuve par équipe) avec les filles.

Les surfeuses longboard françaises Victoria Vergara, Coline Ménard et Justine Mauvin ont pu quand même profiter des conditions de vagues minimes et ont quand même réussis à en faire une session assez délirante. Le fameux photographe de Surf, Sylvain Cazenave les a suivit dans l’eau pour faire un shooting aquatique.
