Let’s celebrate Surfing!
Ready to flow over beaches and enjoy a full day of surfing? Good news, International Surfing Day (ISD) will be back for its 10th edition on Sunday, June 23rd, 2013 to celebrate surfing all around the world.
Launched by EuroSIMA in 2004, International Surfing Day is a unique opportunity for youngs- ters, elders, beginners and/or experts to kick off the summer season and enjoy a full day of surfing as a sport and culture all around the world.
Since its creation, ISD has been actively suppor- ted by the European Surfing Federation (ESF) as well as Surfrider Foundation Europe and Surfers Against Sewage (SAS).
With more participants joining in the fun each year, ISD has become a landmark event for the international surf community.
In 2012, 202 events were organized in 33 countries, including exciting free activities such as: beginner surf lessons, beach clean ups, concerts, gear tests, and much more.
For this 10th edition, we are planning on breaking the event record and celebrating ISD in a variety of cultures all around the world.

Prêts à investir les plages et profiter d’une journée 100% surf ? Bonne nouvelle, l’International Surfing Day (ISD) est de retour pour sa 10ème édition, le dimanche 23 juin 2013 aux quatre coins du monde.
Lancé par l’EuroSIMA en 2004, l’International Surfing Day est une occasion unique, quel que soit son âge et son niveau, de profiter du pre- mier dimanche de l’été pour s’initier au surf et découvrir sa culture à travers le monde. L’ISD est activement soutenu depuis sa création par la Fédération Européenne de Surf, Surfrider Foundation Europe et Surfers Against Sewage (SAS).
Avec un nombre croissant de participants chaque année, l’ISD est devenu un événement de réfé- rence pour la communauté du surf internationale. En 2012, pas moins de 202 événements ont été organisés dans 33 pays.
Des milliers de personnes ont ainsi pu profiter d’une multitude d’activités gratuites telles que : des initiations au surf, des nettoyages de plages, des concerts, des tests de matériel et bien plus encore.
Pour sa 10ème édition, l’équipe de l’ISD se tient prête à battre un nouveau record avec toujours plus d’événements.
